Since McCain's announcement of Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate, he has been hit, hard. She has been criticised by members of her own party, progressive groups such as MoveOn.org, and even I've made some attacks on the blog and other websites against her.
Sarah Palin is to the RIGHT of McCain. She believes that we should teach Creationism in school and wanted to take Polar Bears off the endangered species list to drill in the ANWR; she believes that Global Warming is NOT man made. She has zero foreign policy experience and has been Governor of one of the most fewest populated states in the country for only 1.5 years. Palin is also currently under investigation for corruption charges after running on a campaign of change by removing the corrupt from Alaskan politics.
If you're a Liberal, Moderate, or Conservative, I urge you to strongly reconsider your vote if you plan to vote for McCain/Palin. In the unfortunate and horrible case of McCain somehow winning the election, she is almost certain to take the reigns at some point because of McCain's age and health. Having her as President would destroy the country, its integrity, and I could even see some of the Liberal states seceding.
Consider your vote wisely, we don't need to be remembered as a country by having the choice to move forward from this disgraceful period and choosing to stay in it.

McCain's VP
Earlier this morning, Senator McCain (R), chose Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. Palin is pro-life, pro-teaching creationism in school, and is essentially another standard member of the Republican base. She is 44, making her YOUNGER than Senator Obama, which refutes McCain's "Obama is too young." Palin has been governor of Alska for only 2 years and brings essentially nothing to the table for McCain.
For all intents and purposes, it highly looks like this was a mere publicity stunt to blunt Obama's convention bounce and to try to sway independent women. It's not going to work. Plain is extremely far right, is not known at all outside of her state, and "is no Hillary Clinton." If anything, this will sway women even faster toward the Democrats and Obama.
This was a risky choice for McCain, and it looks like it cost him the election.

Matched
A money making post!
The website,Matched UK, allows you to get 5 pounds right away on start up, and can be done through PayPal. It matches thorough ads with your blog and has the potential to bring in anywhere between 50-100$ or more into your blog, and that isn't counting referral links. I advise you all to sign up, this site seems pretty nice and I wouldn't want to pass up this offer.

And the VP is...
Joe Biden!
Early this morning, the emails and text messages were sent announcing Obama's choice for a VP. Biden brings with him a wealth of national foreign policy experience and the ability to say it like it is, hard. Electorally, he'll reach out to Catholics, the working class, and possibly New England voters.
While not my favourite pick, he was in my top 3 as choices for the pick. Biden demolishes McCain's experience platform and "national policy experience." He's going to be on the McCain campaign non-stop, and will not back down until election day. The Vice Presidential debate is going to be hilarious to say the least, as any likely Republican VP choice is a horrid debater; it is likely to be Romney to add "economic strength" to McCain's ticket, but Massachusetts would like to tell you otherwise.

Feeds, Ads, and Money
I've been looking through the Internet again, and apparently I can wire my RSS feed to give me ads, and thus some money. I'm taking yet another stab at trying to get ads up and running, but can you blame me? They bring in a substantial amount of money, and it's great for my project. I refuse to use Google AdSense, as it requires a real address and tax information, and I'm only trying to amass money through my PayPal, not checks.
I've amassed somewhere between 10-15$ on the Internet so far, albeit I don't have it sitting in my PayPal yet because you have to amass certain amounts on sites or I'm waiting for time limits. I have a plan for the first 15$, it's going to be invested into a project with some friends, a website to be specific. I don't expect to make that back, so it's more of a charity/pitching in kind of thing.

Presidential Polls
Things have been slow lately and I've missed a few days; I apologise to readers who were expecting more content over the past few days. Expect my posting habits to be irregular until September or later.
I've added a poll on the side, and I'll be running it until election day along with other random polls throughout the remainder of the cycle. Feel free to comment if you have a poll idea, I have a dearth of ideas at the moment.
I'd like to use this post to also inform you readers on my political views. I am a far left Liberal on the political spectrum; I am very Progressive and am an economic Socialist. I am a supporter of Barack Obama for president, and have campaigned for him indirectly in Pennsylvania and in Conservative districts in California.
Have a good week and expect some posts later in the week.

Rent A Coder
As promised, I'm beginning to release sites that you guys can use to make your own money.
I haven't used Rent A Coder yet(my coding skills are horrid at the moment), but I know people who do and can verify this is legit. It's pretty simple, apply to one of the available opportunities, and if the person who proposed the job is satisfied, will pay you. The jobs verify in the amount they pay, and you can show them past work to make it more likely for them to choose you for their offer.

Obama's VP
Last night, David Plouffe, a campaign manager for Obama, sent an email announcing that Obama is soon to release the information of whom his VP is via text and email the second he announces it in a speech. Obama has claimed that to some, his choice may appear to be coming from left field; the theme of the night when the VP speaks at the DNC is centred around veterans. I believe that it is highly likely that Obama has chosen General Wesley Clark.
General Clark would balance out Obama's lack-of national policy experience and military expertise; this guy knows how to say it like it is. Clark was the Supreme NATO Commander in Europe during the Kosovo conflict and ran a very successful job. This guy was also against the Iraq War before it began, and knew it would become a quagmire. Electorally, this guy will probably swing Virginia and its high veteran population to leaning democrat and help in Missouri and North Carolina. It is highly unlikely that Clark would help pull his home state of Arkansas, which hasn't voted Democrat since native born Bill Clinton ran.
I'm really hoping it's Wesley Clark; McCain's "strengths" on national policy will be exposed as fraud and he will have no credibility after Obama and Clark rip through him.
No money related news today, I'll begin releasing more sites and trying them out over the next few weeks, however.

Health and Dieting
With a superfluous amount of people overweight, many of those people have turned toward improving their health. Some people use diet pills to lose weight, some eat a healthier diet or turn to exercise; some people use a combination of the three to combat their weight issue. In my experience, diet pills are only effective if you make a serious change to your diet and make it healthy and nutritious. Activities such as running and swimming are easy to get into and help immensely(I'm a runner, and I have to watch the weight loss). I'm not ruling out using diet pills here, I've seen them work in action, but a healthier diet and exercise with almost guarantee weight loss.
Your best bet is a diet with a dearth of fast food and foods high in trans-fats replaced with fruits and healthier foods; combine this with an exercise routine, and your health will greatly improve.

Status Report - Week 3
It's that time again: time for you to know how the week went and how I'm doing.
In the past few days, I have come across a substantial amount of legit appearing websites. I have money beginning to roll in, proving that you can indeed make money from nothing on the net(you just have to know where to look). I'll be releasing links possibly on the weekend and across the week as I check them out and can give some sort of review.
Associated Content is 100% legit and is making me money. Here's a link to my article: Five Southern States Obama Could Turn Blue. It finally got published, and I'm expecting that to get a few hundred views by election day, at the least.
MyLot is a huge source of income in comparison to AC. I've made 4 cents from posting essentially nothing on the site yesterday, and I'll probably pull in a lot more today. I recommend you sign up on MyLot using this link: MyLot Sign Up. This site is great and the community isn't half bad.
On the subject of ads, I'm still looking into this and may have found a site that would payout a small decent sum, if it would let me register correctly. It'll probably be a few weeks before any ads show up on this site, as I can't find any good providers for a site that doesn't get that many views and isn't that old.
This project is becoming a reality, perhaps I'll look into buying my own domain?

MyLot
I have discovered a new site that can get you money for essentially no work on the Internet. Welcome to myLot. This site essentially pays you for posting in a forum environment and making discussions. I've just joined, so feel free to add me as a friend and refer your own friends.
The Associated Content article is still waiting to be published, but it should be done later tonight or tomorrow. I really feel that this site can be a great jump-start, albeit it requires a tad more work.

Final Vacation
I'll be leaving on my final vacation for the Summer today. I'll be on the coast for about 1 1/2 days. Nothing really much to say today, still waiting on the AC article.
Have a good summer guys, it's almost over.

Electoral Predictions

This is my current electoral map predictions. If it is uncoloured, it is a toss-up and may go either way. As you can see, Obama only needs 10 more votes to have the majority in my scenario, while McCain needs 95. It is highly probable that Obama WILL win this election, as it is a Democratic year.
The Dakotas and North Carolina may be moved into the swing state category if their polling trends continue. These traditionally Republican states aren't that supportive of McCain currently, and put him at a statistical tie.
Colorado, Nevada, and New Hampshire all currently lean toward Obama, and would win him the election if he can take all three. Missouri, Indiana, and Virginia are at statistical ties, and Florida, Ohio, and Montana apepar to slightly lean toward McCain.

Site Stuff and Money
I've add a widget on the side that tracks the number of views I get on the blog; now everyone can see how many views on the site there have been. The site also features the nifty donate button, my entry archives, my currently unwritten profile, and my list of fellow blogs. If you want your blog added, just leave a comment and I'll check it out and decide on adding you.
I have written my second Associated Content article and i assure you it is of much higher quality than the first. I expect it to be published by Thursday or Friday, and I'll provide a link then. Hopefully this article will bring in a few dollars.
I've been lagging behind on finding other sources of money. I'm contemplating on taking up Ebay, and some websites won't reply on letting me be an affiliate or ad holder; some sites have denied me because of the blog's current low activity and views. If you have any ideas feel free to comment, I'll keep surfing the net and looking.

Status Report - Week 2
Today was a pretty interesting week. On Tuesday we had an Earthquake, but my distance from the epicentre made it pretty boring. It was cool to have one after a while, however. My vacation was mediocre, met new people and had some fun.
Associated Content has indeed made me cash, although I have not yet received it directly as it is delivered on a set date. I've made a whopping 2 cents so far! Hoorah! My second article is almost finished and I will provide a link when it is published; you can get to my first and so-so article from there.
In politics, Obama's bounce has ended but he still maintains a minimal lead against John McCain. Polls in Florida and Ohio show Obama catching up and maintaining leads in critical swing states. The conventions and VP picks are coming up soon, and then things will get very interesting. For VP predictions, I believe Obama will pick General Clark, Governor Richardson, or Governor Kaine. Each of them brings something to the ticket that would be a significant advantage for Obama. For McCain, I'm near-positive that it will be Governor Romney.
Have a good weekend, and I'll see you all tomorrow or on Monday.
